Bryan Grey Yambao, better known as Bryan Boy, is a Filipino fashion blogger, socialite and Friend of Swarovski. As an expert fashionista and constant presence at fashion weeks worldwide, the star enjoys Paris with Swarovski to talk main catwalk trends, and his greatest fashion joy; the death of minimalism.
As winter gives way to Spring, the horizon looks, well – sparkly. “Spring 2016 is the season of shine and sparkle. Whether you want full-on sparkly, sequined dresses from Lanvin, Vetements and Anthony Vaccarello or shiny, metallic separates from Courreges, Isabel Marant or Marginal, there’s definitely something for everyone. Minimalism is finally dead!”
“I’m a huge fan of crystal-embellished, modern headbands at Miu Miu. I really loved oversized, modernist earrings that I saw at Proenza Schouler, Marni and Prada. Oscar de la Renta and Gucci also had terrific earrings — long, dangly and sparkly. With a Dome ring on his pinky, and two Domino bangles in both white and yellow gold tone, Bryanboy rocks the multi-tone look with his requisite grace. Bryanboy’s fashion forecast for the color tones we’ll be seeing this Spring/Summer: “Silver, white, blue denim and orange.”
