Swarovski has kicked off its Spring/Summer 2020 season with an advertising campaign dedicated to the sparks of energy that ignite romantic relationships, just in time for customers celebrating Valentine’s Day.
“At this romantic time of the year, Swarovski celebrates love stories in all their forms,” says the company with the premise that the collection theme will endure beyond the Valentine’s Day holiday gifting period.
Channeling romantic connections and re-interpreting unforgettable sparks of energy for couples, Swarovski’s new collection reimagines traditional symbols of love, turning them into of-the-moment designs with the brand’s flair for sparkle.
Noteable design elements include iconic and eternal motifs of the infinity symbol and a shimmering heart that are given a contemporary twist.
Swarovski’s Creative Director, Nathalie Colin, explains the inspiration behind the new Infinite Spark collection: “Love is the energy of life. During the most romantic time of the year, we wanted to show how illuminating this energy can be, making people feel more brilliant, brighter and loved. We’ve transformed iconic symbols into stylish pieces designed to capture hearts around the world.”
Collection highlights:
Swarovski has taken key motifs such as the infinity symbol or love heart and offered enduring pieces designed for gifting. These romantic symbols are reimagined for the modern woman, as the Infinity and Lifelong Heart Collections feature universal symbols of love in polished tones and intricate Swarovski crystal pavé embellishment.
Key pieces are the Infinity Cuff, in polished golden metal tones and Swarovski crystal pavé; the Lifelong Heart Pierced Earrings that feature interlocking hoops; the Sparkling Dance Collection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings featuring character elements such as a colourful Swarovski crystal pavé rainbow, a ladybird in flight and a lucky cat; the Attract Soulmates gem pieces with designs centred on the concept of ‘you and me’.
Updates include the Bella Earrings introduced with two new colours – the silk crystal and the clear crystal – for the popular heart-shaped earrings line; also new, the Remix Collection offering necklaces with a innovative clasp system, each piece easily transformed into a new look by connecting with other Swarovski Remix Collection strands.
Finally, Swarovski has reintroduced the Crystal Frost Timepiece in a new rose colour. The updated watch is adorned with 178 Swarovski crystals and floral detailing on the dial.
